Wired Connectivity
In addition to the wireless network, we also provide a single wired connection in each some rooms, usually installed near your desk.
A wired connection is always the best way to connect as WiFi signals constantly change.
With a wired connection you will receive up to 1GB Internet Speed Constantly.
FIXED IP: If your device has a fixed LAN IP address assigned to it, your device will be BLOCKED. All devices must be set to DHCP.
Connecting your cable

You will need to pick up a free network cable from the residence site office to connect to the wired network. You may also need to buy an adapter to connect to your laptop/device.

Each socket allows you to connect any device with an Ethernet Socket into a wired connection.

Wired Sockets are often used for Games Consoles to ensure no lagging connection and fast gaming experience.
One Step Connection

There is no log in or registration required, just plug in and you will be connected to the fibre internet.

There is no need to authenticate the device - you just need to plug the in and you are connected.
